DSC_0706-2A brief story:

Hello,

Thank you for visiting my website. I make products by hand for fiber artists in my wood shop here in Portland, Oregon. The craft of crochet hooks, knitting needles and hairpin lace looms has been passed down to me by my woodworking mentor Edward Jenkins. Ed and Wanda Jenkins have guided me in carrying on this portion of their business. It is my pleasure to carry on their tradition of producing heirloom quality fiber tools that can be enjoyed now and passed on to future generations!

Please see Product Listing for available items. Custom sizes and products will be happily considered.

Thank you,
Allison Geary

  1. I am really happy to glance at this web site posts which consists of tons of useful information, thanks for providing these kinds of
    data.

  2. Fantastic! So excited for you to be a part of the Okanogan Valley Fiber Festival! I SO want to chat with you sometime on Saturday…don’t let me forget! Terri Williams

  3. Your products are not only amazing but beautiful. It was a pleasure to meet you and have you spend time telling me about the spindles you brought to the Fiber Arts show this past weekend. I am in love with my Purpleheart and Liliac wood spindles, just looking at them brings a smile to my face they are so stunning. It is obvious you are extremely passionate and in love with what you do – as it shows not only in your craft but your interactions. You truly care about creating the best quality in each piece. I’m kicking myself for not looking at your swift more closely – I was too in awe of trying to decide which wood to pick the Purpleheart or Lilac (good thing both was the best choice!) I have a commercial one that is nothing special. It gives me something to look forward to. For now I am learning the way of the Turkish Spindle, which provides great entertainment for my cats as well. Thank you so much for the heart you put into your work, it’s greatly appreciated. I wish you all the best Allison.
